    Nice place,  love their pastries
    Especially cream brulee.
    Good location.
    Oxnard has many coffee shops but none have delicious cakes and pastries like this place.

    This place has potential but a few things are off.  In its favor is that its clean, spacious and well lit.  Here are somethings that can be improved.

    1.  The rice - its so plain.  plain white rice. how  boring?

    2. Too much meat.  I dont need so much meat im not trying to get fat,  but I am dying for a little tiny bit of hummus.

    3. NO Hummus for you - NONE of the plates come with hummus?  what sort of crazy mediterranean place is this?

    4.  The restaraunt office is part of the general lounge.  Thats too authentically Mediteranean, we dont need that here in America.

    5.  The food came out very quickly and it waa warm not hot, that makes me suspicious.

    6.  The falafel plate comes with nothing?  really?  wtf?

    In summary, less meat, more hummus, better rice and I would give 5 stars.  But as is, this place is average.

    An unexpected surprise. My boyfriend and I are we're heading to a burger place down the street and it happened to be closed. We were super hangry and I saw a picture of a hamburger so I said we're going there. Now. I'm glad we did! Everyone there was really nice. The food was pretty dang good. I got their cheese bowl which, as anything with cheese is, incredible. So happy we stumbled upon this whole in the wall. Will definitely being going back soon.

    I regret not coming to Oxnard Coffee Shop & Restaurant before. Their food is amazing!!! A lot of variety to choose from, prices very reasonable (a lot of food). The customer service here is great, they treat you very homey.
